Getting to Know You. . .

I participated in Bloggiesta this past weekend.  Bloggiesta is a blog-focused weekend that includes fixing up your blog, challenges you can complete, and a ton of networking!

One of the fabulous challenges was issued by Suey from It’s All About Books, who also happens to be one of the hosts of Bloggiesta.  It’s a Getting to Know You Challenge, encouraging bloggers to reach out, network, and spend a little time getting to know bloggers that are new to you.

I decided to highlight Suey herself, since I was so happy to connect with her through the Twitter chats during Bloggiesta!

Suey from It’s All About Books

Suey has been blogging since 2007!  Suey’s favorite book genres are YA, classics, historical fiction, science fiction and fantasy.  One of the things I love about Suey’s blog is her efforts to read and review books by local authors.  I want to start doing that, too!  Another post that just screams “READ ME” is her Who Would I Let My Daughter Date? Or Not, which talks all about literary characters who would (and wouldn’t) be perfect romantic matches for a daughter.  Suey describes herself as a mom to four who loves to read, eat chocolate, watch Prison Break and listen to Josh Groban.

Suey has been co-hosting Bloggiesta since March of 2012 with Danielle from There’s a Book.

What made me decide to highlight Suey for this challenge?  We connected through Twitter during the Bloggiesta Tweet chats, and I felt like she had the potential to be a great blogging connection!  Plus, I also love to read and who doesn’t love chocolate??  So nice to meet you, Suey!
