Do you have a list of the upcoming books for your on-line book club. I have not partcipated in an on-line book club before, but I am in two book clubs in my community. I have read The Eligance of the Hedgehog. I don’t blog personally, but enjoy reading book blogs. Thank you, Nancy

Nancy,
Allison and I pick the next book a month before to give people a good chunk of time to get ahold of the book! At this time, we don’t know what book we will choose next, but we have book club every other month. Our next one will be in September and we will announce the book in August, with plenty of time! If you are subscribed to my blog or follow Love at First Book on Facebook, you won’t be able to miss the announcements! 🙂
Thanks for stopping by, Nancy!

I just started “A Tree Grows in Brooklyn” by Betty Smith this morning (I have a long commute to work). I was reading “The Golem and the Ginni” but I wasn’t loving it. Will pick it up again in a few days. I reciently read “Our Daily Bread” by Lauren B. Davis which I thought was great. “Light Between Oceans” was really good too.
Cheers,

The Golem was good but sooooo long. It’s worth reading but you have to stick with it. I have a tough time with books over 400 pages. I just don’t see how the author couldn’t have cut out 100 pages or so. Most of the time it seems doable to me! 🙂

Rebecca – Have you read WONDER by Palacio yet ? It is intended to be read by ages 8 and up and it truly is a book for all ages. The story is beautiful and will make you laugh AND cry.
If you haven’t read it yet, do – I know that you will love it. We have our entire staff reading it this summer and all students in 4th – 8th grades.

Muito imttrpanoe este ranking ae. … rsrsrs.

I am always ready to try something different. Since I mostly read fiction, this is a good change for me.

Hopefully we all enjoy it. It’s not that long, and it’s all about women’s issues, so it seems like it should be perfect for a discussion.
